hometown near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he has always enjoyed being active and
staying fit. Looking for a new venue for exercise, Ben began taking cycling
classes at Seattle University. After enjoying the energy and effort required

Emily is a California native who enjoys cooking, traveling, dancing and a hearty laugh! She has been practicing Yoga and Pilates since 2008, and has been teaching Yoga since 2013 upon graduating from SU. Her own practice and studies in Psychology, Philosophy, and Women and Gender Studies deepened her understanding of individual uniqueness, and the relationship between mindful movement and overall health and well-being. She received her YogaFit certification in 2013, and completed her Registered Yoga Teacher training (RYT-200) in 2014. After years of focus on Yoga, three low-back injuries throughout 2014 and early 2015 changed her approach to fitness and health. She returned to Pilates and began Cycling to achieve greater balance in her fitness life in a safe, effective way. "A healthy body is a balanced body"; nourish yourself with nutritious foods, exercise with variety to keep your body guessing, and always make time for rest! Emily's classes work towards using the core to support all movement, to engage the breath, and to use the freedom of movement to better align our posture, and better align our lives!
