Interested in learning to teach Group Fitness?

Join us for a FREE-to-students six-week Group Fitness Instructor Training course this Fall! This course, includes both a lecture and practical class that will prepare you to teach our Cardio Dance or Cycling formats. By the end of the course, you will have the chance to complete a National Group Fitness Certification with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and apply to work for UREC as a Group Fitness Instructor! 

This course takes place 10/15-11/21 Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4-6pm in our Group Fitness Studio.

Register by Friday, 10/6.

Personal Training Workshop: Learn to Lift

Interested in learning more about strength training and feeling more comfortable on the strength floor? Join us for our Learn to Lift workshop where you will work closely with Trainers to learn the basics around resistance training, perfect your form, and leave with a basic strength program. Great for new exercisers. No experience necessary!

In this session our Nationally Certified Personal Trainers will explain the many benefits behind strength training, as well as take you through all the major movements. This workshop takes place when the facility is closed so we’ll have the floor to ourselves!
