Adult Swim Lessons

Group Lessons

We offer two sessions each quarter for Adult Group Swim Lessons. Pick the session that works best for your schedule. Each session will meet twice a week for three weeks.

Fall Schedule

Tuesdays & Thursdays 

Session 1- Register by 10/11

Session 2- Register by 11/8

  STUDENTS $42 ($7/session)
NON-STUDENTS $49 ($8/session)

Skill Level Learning Outcomes

Private & Semi-Private Sessions

UREC will not offer lessons this summer due to pool maintenance. Check back for fall availability. 

These private or semi-private classes can be taught any time our pools are open for lap or open swim. We'll coordinate with you to meet your scheduling needs.

1:1 Private Sessions

Work individually with one of our Instructors on your goals and progress at your own rate! We offer smaller packages to let you see what you want to know and larger discounted packages for continued learning opportunities.

2:1 Semi-Private Sessions

These sessions are meant for two participants with one Instructor. Must be of a similar skill level and have similar goals.

Prices for Semi-Private Sessions are the cost per person. Each individual must purchase the desired package under their own online account.



All Adult Swim Lessons are only for Seattle University Members: Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni and their partners or dependents. We do not serve the community at this time.

First Session

Before entering the water participants will need to sign a waiver and instructional contract. Plant to review this material before the start of your first lesson.

Cancellations & No Shows

All sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance or the session will be forfeited. 


All packages are non-refundable and expire after 6-months.

Facility Policies 

Participants are required to have appropriate swimwear and are not be ill before arriving for each lesson. Entering the water without proper attire or while sick is a hazard to yourself, others and our facilities.
