The steering committee has submitted the final draft to President Sundborg, who is making his revisions and reviewing with the Board of Trustees. As he does this work, the committee will complete its development of proposed actions to support the vision and goals of the high level plan.
Opportunities to review and help develop these proposed actions will include four open forums. The dates, times and locations are listed below and we encourage you to attend. More information regarding these proposed actions will be sent to faculty and staff soon.
Below are the dates, times and locations of our first four faculty and staff open forums (we will hold more later in the quarter). We encourage you to reserve time in your calendar to attend one of these. (The format and content of these four will be similar, so no need to attend more than one).
Listening Sessions are open door, drop-in, small group conversations hosted by members of the Strategic Planning Committee. The sessions are open to all faculty and staff. Feel free to come with particular questions or topics to discuss related to the strategic planning process, or just come to listen and engage. If you’d like to organize a dedicated listening session on behalf of a special community (e.g. working parents, LGBTQ, non-tenure track faculty), you can request one by emailing StrategicPlanning@seattleu.edu.
