Ordinarily spring is the time of year we hold our Faculty and Staff Appreciation Event, but given the current circumstances, we unfortunately are unable to gather together this year.

In the meantime, we are moving forward in recognizing colleagues who are retiring, celebrating milestones, and of course, those who will be honored with well-deserved awards. In August, we will be announcing recipients of the staff awards that are typically given out at the annual appreciation event.

In addition to the Excellence in Leadership Awards —one for exempt staff, the other for non-exempt (formerly known as the Lee Thurber Award), three new staff awards will be launched as well.
In light of COVID-19, the decision was made to hold off awarding one faculty member with the James B. McGoldrick, S.J., Fellowship during 2020-21.
