Volunteer

At Seattle University, we believe the parent and family experience is an extension of the student experience. Through our parent volunteer opportunities, including the Redhawk Parent & Family Leadership Council, we aim to foster community, help you find a sense of mission and purpose, and provide occasions for you to grow through your engagement with Seattle University, just as we do for our students.

Our intent is to make volunteering informative, dynamic, and meaningful to you. In the service of this mission, we have built a strong network of partners to offer you a full range of resources and support:

  • Katie Chapman, Sr. Director of Development, University Initiatives & Student Success is available to answer your questions regarding investing in Seattle University.
  • Laurie Prince, Director of Parent & Family Engagement, is here to help you navigate volunteer opportunities and discern how to support your student during this critical time in their growth and development.

Parents and families are integral in making a transformative educational experience possible for all Seattle University students, and we invite you to partner with us and our Redhawk Parent & Family Leadership Council as we work to support to all Redhawks on their educational journey.

We hope your time at Seattle U continues to be fulfilling and fruitful for both you and your student, and welcome to the Seattle University family.
