Students
Identification and Paperwork
- Please bring a photo ID, so that you can get your SU Campus Card
- Final transcripts or AP scores that need to be turned into Admissions
- It's helpful to have your SU ID Number written down (if you haven't remembered it yet)
Overnight Stay
- Linens ARE provided (bedding, pillow, towel)
- Personal toiletries (shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.)
- Phone and charger
Clothing
- Dress in layers; we'll be inside with and without AC and we'll be outdoors
- Comfy shoes; you'll do a lot of walking as you explore your new campus home
- You'll have downtime during the evening on Day 1 where you might choose to get active outside and participate in outdoor games with your new friends; you may want to change into athletic gear or more comfy clothes
Family Members
- Dress in layers; we'll be inside buildings with and without AC and we'll also spend some time outdoors
- Wear comfy shoes; we'll do a lot of walking as we explore the SU campus
- Phone and charger; you may want to snap some pictures, call to check in at home or work, or want to get numbers from fellow parents and family members you meet at Orientation
- Expect to experience the full spectrum of emotions; sending a student off to college is no easy task, so give yourself grace as you navigate this transition
- If you are staying on campus during Orientation, linens (bedding, pillow, towel) will be provided, but you should bring your own toiletries and clothing.
