When to Make Travel Plans
Sign up for Orientation will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis through your SU Applicant Portal. Space at each session is limited, so please do not make any travel plans until you have signed up for a session and received a confirmation message.
During Summer in Seattle, students stay on campus overnight in Bellarmine Hall, and have the option for an early arrival (staying the night before Day 1 of Orientation) and/or a late departure (departing the day after the session ends). We strongly encourage all students, even those who will be commuting during the academic year, to stay overnight as it's a great way to meet new friends.
Changing Your Orientation Reservation
If you need to make any changes to your Orientation reservation, including adding early arrival/late departure, adding or removing a guest, and updating any information for either yourself or your guest(s), please contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 206-296-2525 to request changes.

There are dozens of options in downtown Seattle for overnight lodging. All of our suggested hotels are within one mile of the university. Expect a 10-minute drive (~30-minute uphill walk or bus ride) from the hotels nearest the waterfront. Several offer discounts for SU friends and family, so be sure to check with the concierge before booking!
