Scholars will have opportunities to engage with a variety of programs and services offered through the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA), Career Services, and University Advancement throughout the academic year. These programs and services are designed to support the academic, personal/social, and cultural success of Costco Scholars.
Here are some of the ways that Costco and Seattle University support the success of Costco Scholars:
The Costco Leadership Advisory Board will be offering a variety of opportunities for Scholars to connect throughout the year for social and educational functions. Students will also be presented with an array of programs and services offered through the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA).
Professional Development & Networking
Career Services offers opportunities to develop professional skills and practices through resume writing workshops, mock interviews, 1:1 advising sessions, and so much more. These opportunities are aimed to prepare scholars for special internship and employment postings made available through the larger network of Costco executives and supplier partners.
Through the Office of Alumni Relations, scholars will have opportunities to network and engage with former Costco Scholarship Fund recipients. These alumni are invested in students' success while at Seattle University, and encourage your involvement with the Alumni group upon graduation.

Costco Scholarship Fund
In Fall of 2000, Costco joined forces with Seattle University and the University of Washington to create scholarships for underrepresented minority students. The Costco Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to high-achieving students who wish to attend SU or UW. The fund was created by the generous contributions of many individuals and organizations through an annual fundraising event sponsored by chief executives of Costco Wholesale. The Costco Scholarship Fund is administered by the College Success Foundation, a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization. To date this program has generated almost 25 million dollars in scholarship support for more than 1,000 scholars.
