Transfer and Post Baccalaureate Application Requirements

A complete BSN transfer/post-baccalaureate application includes:

1.  Seattle University Transfer Application.

The SU Transfer application includes the BSN Transfer Prerequisite Form, Nursing Personal Essay prompt and Seattle University personal statement. Please note: applicants must complete both the Nursing Personal Essay and the Seattle University Personal Statement. 

2.   A professional resume detailing relevant healthcare, volunteer, work and/or medical experience.

This is submitted through the above applications.   

3.  Official transcript from each college, university or professional school attended.

All transcripts must be submitted from the original college or university even if the courses have been transferred to another institution. Transcripts may be mailed to:

4.  Official AP scores and CLEP exam scores as applicable.

5.  A $55 application fee.

The fee is not required for student who will have completed an Associate of Arts degree at a Washington, Arizona, California or Oregon state community college by the time of enrollment and who are transferring directly to Seattle University.

6.  Proof of English proficiency.

Applicants whose native language is other than English must demonstrate English Proficiency at non-English Language Culture Bridge program levels. For more information on how to demonstrate proof of English Proficiency, please visit our policy page.

  • TEAS Test
  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification

Application deadline: December 1, 2018 
(if deadline falls on a weekend or holiday students have until offices reopen to submit application materials)
