SU people were instrumentally involved in the recent Washington Association of College and Research Libraries conference held at Center for Sustainable Forestry at Pack Forest. Jan Hartley, head of technical services at the Lemieux Library, organized the conference and moderated the opening session, “What was in your inbox today: breaking into and understanding our institutional silos,” which included panelist Jeffrey Philpott, assistant professor of communication and Core Curriculum director. Also participating in the conference were Lemieux librarians Kristen Shuyler, left, reference and instructional services librarian, and Lynn Deeken, right, instruction and assessment coordinator. They presented a session on “Turning Library Marketing into a Conversation with the Campus.”
