Four students in the College of Science and Engineering won the Region 6 Micromouse Competition, which was held at the Museum of Flight in February. Advised by faculty member Al Moser, the electrical and computer engineering senior design team developed a robotic "mouse" that used sensors to work its way through a 16' x 16' maze. SU's mouse, nicknamed "The Dude" won the competition by reaching its destination in a mere 27 seconds.
