They had an amazing weekend in late January at the Western Washington University tournament, winning both the JV and Open Division. Congratulations to:
In December, Seattle University hosted one of the nation’s largest BP/Worlds Tournaments featuring 60 teams from schools all over North America—Alaska, Colorado, California, British Columbia, Kansas, Idaho, Nevada, Massachusetts, and Ontario as well as Washington and Oregon.
Amidst this difficult competition, Seattle University had two teams in open quarterfinals: Parker Davidson and Cameron Quinn; Alyssa Gaston and Ryan Shook. Seattle University had a finals team in JV Division: Alex Lindgren-Ruby and Lily Panetta. Ryan was fourth speaker in JV Division.
In November, they shone at the University of British Columbia Tournament, a highly competitive tournament with some of Canada’s best teams.
Alyssa, Ryan, Sarah, Hatcher, Cameron and Parker all won speaker awards, too.
In October, the team traveled to Lewis & Clark College:
