Cynthia Moe-Lobeda presents at PLU, prepares for another

Cynthia Moe-Lobeda, associate professor of theology and religious studies, gave a presentation at the fourth annual Lutheran Studies Conference which was held at Pacific Lutheran University. Moe-Lobeda discussed how Lutheran sources invite people to resist forms of structural evil. She is also scheduled to give a presentation at an ecumenical conference on climate change, "Why Water Is Sacred," in Santa Barbara, Calif., in February. At that conference Moe-Lobeda will discuss "Dismantling Ecological and Economic Violence."
