Mildred Ollee, a 1988 alumna of Seattle University’s doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, has been appointed interim executive director of the Northwest African American Museum. “Dr. Ollee brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience,” said Debbie Bird, chair of the museum’s board. “She comes with a great passion to help realize the mission and vision of the museum. I look forward to the invaluable contribution she will add to NAAM as our Interim Executive Director.” Ollee previously served as president of Portland Community College and Seattle Central Community College.
