The School of Law is glowingly acknowledged in the March 2010 issue of Washington State Bar News. In a column written by WSBA President Salvador Mungia, the Academic Resource Center’s Alternative Admissions Program is lauded for opening the doors to a more diverse group of law students.

Mungia acknowledges ARC faculty, Director Paula Lustbader and David Boerner, and writes: "A lot of institutions talk of their desire to become more diverse. Yet they get on the same train...Seattle University School of Law got serious about changing its landscape. It started taking a different train years ago. As a result, it changed its own landscape and, in turn, has helped change the landscape of our legal profession."
