CASE Awards for Marcom

Seattle University has won five 2013 Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VIII Communication Awards for four projects in which Marketing Communications staff were principally involved.

Seattle University's Fall 2012 SU Magazine special magazine on academic excellence won the bronze award in the "Magazines: Magazine Special Issues" category. (Collaborating staff: Marketing Communication's Tina Potterf, Terry Lundmark, Annie Beckmann, Christopher Joseph Taylor, Mary Olson, as well as SU alumna Maura Beth Pagano, '12, and freelance photographer John Keatley)

Scholarly Excellence," a publication showcasing outstanding research at SU, won the gold award in the category "Fundraising, Special Event and Other Communications: Other Special Purpose Publications." The piece also won the gold award in the "Photography & Illustration Photography-Series of related photographs" category. (Collaborating faculty and staff: Office of Research Services and Sponsored Project's Nalini Iyer, and Marketing Communication's Mary Olson, Annie Beckmann, Scott Drabik, Sarah Hyde and Casey Corr, with freelance photographer John Keatley)

The "See Yourself in Red" Advertising Campaign, as seen on the Seattle University homepage and in print ads, won the silver award in the category  "Alumni and Student Communications: Advertising for Student Recruiting." (Collaborating staff: Marketing and Communication's Jason Beard, Annie Beckmann, Eli Christopher, Scott Drabik, Stacy Howard, Sarah Hyde, Terry Lundmark, Mary Olson, Tina Potterf, Susan Rudolph-Loos and Chris Joseph Taylor)

The "Renewal of Vows-15th Anniversary of the Chapel of St. Ignatius" photo series in the SU Magazine won the bronze award for "Photography & Illustration: Individual photographs." (Chris Joseph Taylor of Marketing Communications)
