Business and law school programs earn top 25 marks nationally in latest U.S. News ‘Best Graduate Schools’ rankings

Seattle University graduate programs in business and law continue to be among the best such programs in the region and nationwide, according to the 2017 U.S. News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools" rankings  released today.

Three graduate programs in the Albers School of Business and Economics achieved high rankings. The Executive MBA program was tied for 12th in the nation and is the top ranked EMBA program in the Northwest. It consistently ranks in the Top 25 by U.S. News, with this year's ranking its best yet. The accounting program was tied for 16th in the nation and tied for first in the Northwest. It, too, has been consistently ranked in the U.S. News top 25. Additionally, the part-time MBA program ranked 59th in the country, making it the top ranked private program in the Northwest.

The School of Law's Legal Writing program, ranked #1 by U.S. News  for several years running, again took the top spot-one of only two West Coast university legal writing programs ranked in the top group. The clinical training program is tied for 14th nationally and is the only one in the Northwest to achieve the distinction of being in the Top 20. Finally, the part-time JD degree program is tied for 23rd and is one of only two Northwest programs to make the top 25 list.
