John Hirsh, center, a graduate student in accounting at Albers, wrote a great article that appears in the January/February edition of WashingtonCPA. Hirsh writes about going to Malawi at the invitation of Sarah Bee, senior lecturer in accounting, to participate in Africa Start-Up, through which Bee, SU grad Christina Davis and Hirsh taught financial literacy concepts to Malawian students to help them start new businesses. As Hirsh puts it, “My journey to Malawi, Africa is a testament to how Seattle University has dedicated and purposefully aligned themselves with their core values.” Learn more about Africa Start-Up
