Campus community unites to pray for and stand with the people of Ukraine.

Campus Ministry organized a prayer vigil March 3 at the reflecting pool outside the Chapel of St. Ignatius for the campus to come together to mourn the lives lost in Ukraine and comfort and support those grieving during this difficult time.

In an excerpt from a message to campus, Campus Ministry wrote “As a Jesuit and Catholic university, we stand firmly against all acts of violence and particularly as we enter the season of Lent, we are reminded of our call to stand with all who suffer in the world. … Let us stand in solidarity ... and recommit ourselves as agents of peace and justice.”
