What are some new resources being piloted by the library?

The Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons will be piloting two citation indices and two journal metric resources during the 2021–2022 academic year. Resources for the pilot include Clarivate’s Web of Science (Science Citation Index and Social Science Citation Index) and Journal Citation Reports; and Elsevier’s SCOPUS and CiteScore. The pilot will assist the library in assessing the role of citation and journal metrics resources in supporting teaching, learning and research—and allow for evaluation of a possible subscription to a citation index and journal metric resources aligned with other resource needs and priorities. Additional information and timeline can be found at Citation Index & Journal Metrics Pilot Library Guide, or contact Director of Resource Acquisition & Management Jan Hartley at hartleyj@seattleu.edu.
