The Seattle U chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (the academic honorary for accounting, finance and analytics) placed in all three categories at the BAP Northwest regional competitions earlier this month. This included a first-place finish in the Engagement category by Riley Ohashi and Francisco Ruiz. The team presented on how the chapter is reaching out to increase membership among students pursuing degrees in finance and analytics. They automatically advance to the national finals in Orlando this summer.

Connor Spawn and Kelsey Crowder scored a third-place finish in the Impact category and Sabrina Xiao and Amber Larsh placed third in the Innovation competition. Gabe Saucedo, assistant professor of accounting, is the BAP faculty advisor.
