Student Athletes Score Fall Quarter Academic Achievements

Collectively, Seattle U's 350 student-athletes earned a cumulative 3.337 grade point average during the academic year's first quarter.

As the New Year and new quarter begins, Seattle University student-athletes look to build on the successes they achieved in the classroom during the Fall 2019 quarter. As a collective unit, including more than 350 student-athletes, the Redhawks earned a cumulative 3.337 grade point average during the academic year's first quarter.

All told, 17 of 18 sport programs achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or above. Topping that list include five teams over a 3.5 GPA – women's golf (3.80), softball (3.655), women's swimming (3.642), women's cross country (3.604) and men's golf (3.50).

Of 352 student-athletes recorded, 172 were named to the Dean's List, achieving a 3.5 GPA or higher. Sixty-one student-athletes earned a 3.9 or above and 34 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 for the term.
