Science and Engineering students shared findings from the research they conducted under the mentorship of faculty this past summer during the STEM Research Showcase on Oct. 25. One of the projects, “Tuning for Biologically Plausible Neuron-Ensemble Variability in Hierarchical Computational Models of the Human Cortico-BG-Thalamocortical Action-Selection Circuit,” was worked on by Zachary Chandler (pictured here), Edward Gao and Kyle Sharp.
