Hundreds of Seattle University faculty, staff, students, trustees, alumni and other special guests gathered on May 30 to ceremoniously break ground on the Center for Science and Innovation, the university's largest-ever capital project. The future home of SU's STEM programs, as well as the Center for Community Engagement and student-run radio station KXSU-FM, will open in two phases in 2021 and 2023. It is funded with generous gifts from many individual and corporate donors, including PACCAR, Amazon, Microsoft and The Murdock Trust.
