Vilissa Thompson, a disability rights consultant, writer, advocate and licensed master social worker, delivered the keynote speech at Seattle University’s annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Jan. 16. Thompson is founder and CEO of Ramp Your Voice!, an organization focused on promoting self-advocacy and strengthening empowerment among people with disabilities. You can learn more about her here.
