Seattle University served as a venue for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in early July. Playing host for all the soccer matches and a number of basketball games, the university welcomed 260 athletes, 1,000 family members and thousands of spectators to campus. The events culminated with an award ceremony on July 5.
