Volt Athletics Inc., cofounded and lead by CEO Dan Guiliani, MSAL ‘10, was named to Seattle Business Magazine’s 2017 “100 Best Companies to Work For” in Washington State.

Seattle Business Magazine works with research firm Fieldwork Webwork to conduct confidential employee surveys to create the list. Responses are ranked across 10 categories: benefits, communication, corporate culture, hiring/retention, executive leadership, performance standards, responsibility/decision making, rewards/recognition, training/education and workplace environment.

According to the Seattle Business Magazine website, companies are rated "on the basis of confidential employee surveys weighted against the level of employee participation. If a company has high scores in each of our categories but only a small percentage of their employees responded, it won’t do as well as a company that scored well and had a higher rate of participation.”

Dan earned his Masters in Sport Administration and Leadership from Seattle University in 2010 and his BA from Colby College, where he played football. An Adjunct Professor of Sport Performance at the University of Washington, Dan has been a CSCS-certified strength coach by the NSCA since 2009. He has coached elite athletes at the high school and college levels since 2006.
