Arnold Designs Costumes for Stage and Film

Harmony Arnold, MFA, Associate Professor, Performing Arts & Arts Leadership recently designed costumes for Murder for Two, the latest collaboration between The 5th Avenue Theatre and ACT Theatre.

In this recent Encore Arts feature story, Arnold says, "My job is to work with an actor to achieve character...I love the collaborative process." She adds, "It's a team sport."

“Everyone is a suspect in Murder for Two—a drop-dead funny murder mystery musical with a twist: one actor investigates the crime; the other plays all the suspects—and they both play the piano! A zany blend of classic musical comedy and madcap mystery, this ninety-minute whodunit is a highly theatrical duet loaded with killer laughs.”

Running through June 11, tickets are available online and The 5^th Avenue Theatre has a fun video about the show.

Arnold also recently costumed Little Potato, directed by Wes Hurley and Nathan M. Miller, which won the SXSW Short Film Grand Jury Award for Documentary Shorts. Learn more about the film and watch a clip here.
