A Social Media Manager is responsible for creating and managing social media content that positively impacts a brand and its community.
A social media manager is also responsible for monitoring channels and conversations while gathering insights into a company’s online community so that the company can better serve its audience. It is also the social media manager’s responsibility to integrate social media content with a company’s larger marketing team’s initiatives and goals.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in technical writing is expected to grow by 9 percent nationally between 2014 and 2024, with a median salary of $48,000 per year depending on experience, education, and industry according to PayScale.
