    What do I do here at Seattle University?

    I'm the Director of External Affairs. In this role, I leverage internal and external relationships to raise the university's profile, expand and deepen our partnerships and advance our strategic priorities.

    On a Saturday night, you'd most likely find me:

    At home enjoying quality time with my wife and kids over dinner, a good movie, or playing the Wii. 

    Biggest pet peeves?

    Condescending people. 

    Favorite U.S. President & why?

    Obama – I believe he is a great servant leader who is grounded by strong principles. He is addressing transformative issues during a highly contentious time in politics. Whether you completely agree with his policies or not, Obama symbolizes a "real" need for change and social justice in our country.

    Puerto Vallarta

    Over the past 10 years, I've worked in various management capacities in the nonprofit sector and public education. I've designed and implemented strategies in community engagement, education advocacy and college access with organizations such as Washington STEM and the Alliance for Education.
