Alumni services during COVID

During this period of COVID restrictions, alumni and guests are not able to visit campus. The library will continue to create Alumni borrowing accounts upon request, but until campus restrictions on visitors change all other services to alumni are temporarily suspended.

Getting Started

We are pleased to offer a variety of library services to our Seattle University alumni. You are considered an alum if you have earned a minimum of 90 credits from Seattle U.  

  •  Request a Lemieux Library Alumni Borrowing Account 
  • A Circulation staff member will contact you when your account is ready to use. 
  • An Alumni Borrowing Account does not give borrowers access to licensed online resources (ebooks, articles, databases, streaming audio and video, etc.)


You are invited to take advantage of the following services and privileges: 

  • Borrow physical books, media, and periodicals 
  • Select number of library-licensed databases and electronic texts  
  • Basic research assistance  
  • Access to Special Collections by appointment  
  • Digital archives of student newspapers The Spectator (1933-2012), and its predecessor The Palestra (1922-1927)
  • Quiet, attractive study spaces  
  • Free book scanner
