Library Collections

Library collections support faculty teaching and student learning by providing resources in a variety of formats: print, electronic/online, and audiovisual. Collection activities focus on the development and maintenance of collection related policies, coordination of collection assessment techniques, and the management of data and collection statistics for a variety of university and library reports.

Main Collection

Books are available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors.

Periodicals Collection

Lemieux library provides online access to thousands of periodicals (journals, magazines, and newspapers).

Periodicals in print are available on the 5th floor of the building. They are shelved alphabetically by journal title.

Videos and Other Media

The library's media collection includes DVDs (commercial and academic), VHS, CDs, cassette tapes, games, and kits. Videos are shelved on the 3rd floor.

Special Collections

Special Collections include materials that have been separated from the main collection for reasons of rarity or fragility, format, or association with the University or local community. For more information, see the Special Collections Guide.
