Tutoring Blitz is schedule for Monday October 1st from 4:30-7pm. At the blitz, students can complete their Tutoring Needs Assessment (TNA) which is required before accessing tutoring.*
Tutoring will begin Wednesday October 3rd
*If students cannot come to the Blitz, they can still complete a TNA and access tutoring by signing up through our tutortrac database or stopping by or calling the LAP front desk.
Learning Assistance Programs provides tutoring in a variety of subject areas. Both the tutor and tutee benefit from this meaningful relationship.
Drop In Tutoring is available for underlined courses. Hours vary, please sign up at the LAP front desk for a 30 minute time slot.
Note: Because most humanities classes (History, English, Philosophy, Theology, etc) differ greatly in content and instructor style we do not offer tutoring in those subjects. However, we can help you design a study approach for these courses. You can meet with a learning specialist in our office to build strategies for reading, study, review and test taking. For other classes we may not tutor, we can often point students to other campus resources they may not be aware of.
