Tutoring for Spring Quarter will begin April 5th. All students must complete a Tutoring Needs Assessment (TNA) before signing up for tutoring. The fastest way to complete the TNA is to attend the Tutoring Assessment Blitz on April 3rd at 5pm. Additional appointments are available.
Learning Assistance Programs provides tutoring in a variety of subject areas. Both the tutor and tutee benefit from this meaningful relationship.
Drop In Tutoring is available for underlined courses. Hours vary, please sign up at the LAP front desk for a 30 minute time slot.
Note: Because most humanities classes (History, English, Philosophy, Theology, etc) differ greatly in content and instructor style we do not offer tutoring in those subjects. However, we can help you design a study approach for these courses. You can meet with a learning specialist in our office to build strategies for reading, study, review and test taking. For other classes we may not tutor, we can often point students to other campus resources they may not be aware of.
