Japanese

Hi! I love conversing in Japanese language and encouraging others to do the same, no matter what their skill level. I studied Japanese language for all of my high school and college years, and lived in Japan collectively for about 5 years, which includes studying abroad and working there. I will be happy to engage with you on any level so that you can feel empowered to connect in another language.

Spanish

I am a Criminal Justice and Spanish double major, and am on SU's Improv Troupe, D1 Improv! I am also the VP of our Criminal Justice club. I love learning and getting to know new people, and I cannot wait to meet all of you. I use she/her pronouns, and am always looking for new and yummy restaurants around campus!

Spanish

Hi! I'm Keira and I'm a fourth year studying Sociology, Creative Writing, and Spanish. On campus, I'm involved with the Gender Justice Center, Sustainable Student Action, and Inigo Productions. In my free time, I enjoy farming at Yes Farm, watching Spanish tv (my favorites are Veneno, Paquita Salas, and Grand Hotel!), and walking to Chuminh Tofu for lunch. I'm excited to be working with LAP this year!

Major: Social Work and Spanish

Spanish

Hi everyone! My name is Cullin and I am the Languages Subject Specialist. I am in my third year and majoring in both Social Work and Spanish. This is my second year with LAP - last year I was a Group Conversation Leader and will be doing it once again this Spring! I am super passionate about languages, and am thrilled to step into this new role and get more involved with LAP! I have been studying Spanish for seven years. I lived in Guatemala for six months after high school; studied abroad in Puebla, Mexico last Winter; and spent this past Spring in Mexico City. Some fun facts about me: I am from Minnesota, I am passionate about immigration and social justice, I love traveling and spending time outdoors, I was a barista for 2 years, and I enjoy cooking and trying new foods. I look forward to meeting you and being a resource for you on your language-learning journey!
