SU Managed Printing - Adjust Brightness on Scans/Copies

Summary

Scanning is free, but copying will use your prints. Be sure to used double-sided (duplex printing) if you'd like to save paper. Use the instructions below to adjust the brightness on your scans or copies. 

 

Step-by-step

1. Log in to the machine with your SU username and password, or swipe your Campus Card.

2. Choose Copy. Faculty/Staff (and student workers with printing privileges) may be asked to select an account to charge. Scanning is free, and the account will not be charged.

 

3. Select Others from the bottom left hand corner.

4. Tap Exposure


5. Select Light Original (for optimum brightness).

6. Move the slider to the right or left to adjust the brightness. 


7. Select OK twice, and then select Start.

Steps to adjust brightness on scans

1. Log in to the machine with your Campus Card or your SU username and password.
 

2. Choose one of the Scan options.  Faculty/Staff (and student workers with printing privileges) may be asked to select an account to charge.

3. Select Exposure


4. Select the document type.

5. Move the slider to the right or left to adjust brightness. 


6. Tap OK and then tap Start.
