Planned Systems Maintenance 


Summer is a busy time for IT Services as we work on projects that will benefit SeattleU once the school year begins in the Fall. In July and August, we have Planned Systems Maintenance twice each month to ensure university systems and services stay up to date. Below is a list of the current schedules and affected services. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.


Friday, July 20 


Building Network Connectivity 5:00pm to 10:00pm 

Wired and wireless network access will be intermittently unavailable.

-Casey Building (CASY) 

-Championship Field (CHAF)

Campus Card 7:30pm to 10:00pm 

Services that will be unavailable during this window for updates: 

-Point Of Sale processing 

All other campus card services will be operational in offline mode. 


Monthly System Patches/Updates 5:00pm to midnight 

Services that will be intermittently unavailable during this window include the following: 





-P: and T: Drive 

-Raiser’s Edge 

-SUOnline (WebAdvisor & Self-Service) 



-VDI (Virtual Desktop Environment) 

-MPS (Managed Print Services) 


 Tip If you experience connectivity issues with either your computer or office phone after these updates, please reboot your device as a first troubleshooting step. If you continue to experience internet problems, please contact the Help Desk for further troubleshooting.
