To GlobalProtect VPN users: A new version of GlobalProtect is being published on the VPN host at 8pm Friday, July 24th. Please activate your GlobalProtect client anytime after 8:15pm Fri July 24th to initiate the silent upgrade of the GlobalProtect software on your device. You do not have to be an Administrator on your computer to run this update. Plan to leave your GlobalProtect session connected for at least 20 minutes to allow the silent upgrade to run, which once installed will disconnect the VPN session. You can verify the GlobalProtect version by clicking the three horizontal lines in the upper right GlobalProtect window, select "About", and review the "Version value". The new version is 5.1.5 .
Microsoft Office License Update 7:00am to 7:30am
Services will remain available during this window. All faculty, staff, and student licenses are being upgraded. No action will be required of users, but after the update, all users will have access to Microsoft Teams Audioconferencing. This new feature means Teams meetings organized by SU students, faculty, and staff will be accessible through the Teams app or via dial-in phone number.
Data Center Server Switch Update 7:00am to 8:30am
