Hello!! My name is Ahmed (silent H), and I am from Saudi Arabia. I am majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Since I came to the US, meeting new people from different countries has been a great pleasure to me, which was why I chose to work at ISC. I love learning new things and trying new food!. I am also into sports a lot such as soccer squash and American football. My goal at SU is to make as many friends from different countries as possible (also to finish my bachelor). Say hi to me when you see me!
Hi, My name is Marlon Do Couto. I am originally from Goiânia, a city in the Central region of Brazil. I am majoring in Finance and plan to work as a financial analyst after I graduate. I love anything related to data so I hope I get some experience with that as well. I like studying languages - now I am studying French and know some Russian - and reading about different countries. I am also into good coffee, music (I used to be in a band back in Brazil), podcasts (especially about politics and economics), binge watching TV shows, working out, and running. I am also super interested in social justice issues – especially those related to the LGBTQ community. Come by the office and say hi!

Hello!! My name is Misato Muraoka and I am one of the new Programming Assistants here at the ISC. I am from Menlo Park, California (about a 45 minute drive south from San Francisco) but I was raised in a Japanese household, so my first language is Japanese. I am double majoring in International Business and Business Analytics, and I have no idea what I want to do after I graduate! I like to eat and sleep (who doesn't) but I not very good at cooking and I have a lofted bed which sometimes discourages me from climbing up to take naps... Anyways! Welcome to the ISC and please stop by to grab some coffee and say hi!
I am from Hong Kong, Shanghai, China. A fun fact about me is that I went to at least 13 schools in my life, and this is my third university. I am involved with the Chinese Students & Scholars Association (current president and head of marketing) and intern at the HKBAW (Hong Kong Business Association of Washington). Come talk to me about studying in the US for the first time. I can also suggest good restaurants, off-campus housing, and connect you with other Chinese students who live here in the U.S.
