Alexis Wall

About Me

Alexis was born and raised in a small town in Malaysia. In 1992 she moved to the US for college and has lived here ever since.  For the past 20 years, she has worked for the University of Washington, first as a Web Applications Developer and then a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer. She was part of the team that built out the infrastructure for the UW IT Enterprise Data Warehouse and Enterprise Reporting Analytics & Business Intelligence Portal.

A Fun Fact About Myself

Alexis is a life-long yoga student and a RYT 500 hours yoga teacher. She built a yoga community at UW IT and taught yoga there from 2015 up to the 2021. She has also partnered with UW Whole U for campus wide yoga events. She is currently teaching yoga part-time at Seattle Bouldering Project, Expedia Group and Fremont Health Club.

 Alexis also enjoys traveling and exploring new places with family and friends. She is a PADI certified scuba diver. One of her favorite dives was at Pulau Sipadan at the Celebes Sea.
