SeattleU Computer Science Grads Win SITAC 2018

Prize Winning Computer Science Students

SU Computer Science Graduate Students sweep the top two prizes in the 2018 IASA IT Architecture Competition bringing home over $10,000


In an award ceremony following final presentations by each of the teams at the REI IT Center in Bellevue, an SU Computer Science Department team (Joel Aguiar, Vilia Wang and Yue Zhang) was crowned as winner of this year's competition, earning the $10,000 first prize. SU graduates also finished second (Mengshan Chen, Karen Marcjan and Chidozie Ononiwu) out of the 14 teams completing the rigorous event.

SITAC is an annual competition put on by IASA to promote the education of IT Architecture professionals. The competition is available to graduate and undergraduate students from across the country.
