Reflection: Bob Dullea provided the reflection reading two poems on the pandemic. 

Task Force Update: The Cabinet was briefed on the continuing work of the Presidential Task Force on Reopening Fall 2020. A message will be going to the Faculty and Staff in advance of one to students on the dates for the fall quarter (Sept 9 – Nov 24). A return to workplace guideline document is being worked on which will be shared with different constituent groups for feedback. Interviews of university leaders are being conducted and a survey will go out to all faculty and staff asking questions regarding the return to the workplace. 

Strategic Planning Council Meeting Debrief: The Cabinet discussed the previous week’s SPC meeting. 

Alpha Sigma Nu Experience: The Cabinet talked about the success of the ASN Experience event and connecting with students, listening to them about how the quarter has been for them at this time. 

Summer Board of Trustees Meeting: It has been decided that the Board will meet on July 14 from 8 – 10 a.m. focusing on 1) Plans for the coming academic year; 2) Finances; and 3) Executive Session on the Presidential Search.

Updates: Cabinet was reminded to be sure to continue to coordinate on communications. Summer Hours will begin June 19 through Sept. 4. The Kudo Board is live and all are encouraged to post something for the graduates. The President’s Community Forum on Friday, May 22 went well. Conversation with the CFO is Thursday, May 28. IT work in classrooms will be moved up in prep for the academic year.
