Strategic Planning: The Cabinet met with members of the SPSC to discuss the process going forward with the Strategic Plan in advance of the September Board meeting and anticipated approval of the plan during the November Board meeting. Fr. Sundborg introduced the joint session in gratitude for the work being done by the SPSC over the summer.

The session focused on framing where the university is currently in the process, providing the framework for generating “breakout” ideas which will differentiate the university and reposition SU in a changing higher ed environment.

The Cabinet and SPSC intend to meet one time prior (date TBD) to the August 27 session.

Summer Schedule: The July 30, August 6 and August 13 Cabinet meetings are cancelled due to vacation schedules; the Cabinet will reconvene on Tuesday, August 20.
