FY20 Budget Discussions: As a follow up to Day 1 of the FY20 Budget Deliberations on Thursday, February 28, the Cabinet continued its discussion related to the university’s reallocations, wage pool, and proposed fringe rate. Work will continue in advance of the March 28 reallocation deadline and Day 2 FY20 Budget Deliberations in mid-April. The Cabinet will further discuss the ongoing work of the FY20 budget in upcoming Cabinet meetings.

Key Events and Dates: The Cabinet reviewed a list of key campus events and dates for Spring 2019.

Updates:

• The President’s Forum is today, March 5 at 12:30 in Pigott Auditorium.
• The next Diversity and Inclusion Cabinet workshop is March 15; the two-hour session will have a guest facilitator.
• Due to a number of Cabinet member absences, the March 12 Cabinet meeting will be canceled. The Cabinet will reconvene on March 19.
• A new rector has been named for the Arrupe Jesuit Community. Arturo Araujo, S.J. will begin July 31. He joins the community from USF where he has been serving as Associate Professor in Fine Arts.
