  • University of Maryland Summer Research Initiative:  An 8-week program at the University of Maryland, College Park preparing students for graduate programs in behavioral, social, or economic sciences. All expenses are paid and stipends are given
  • Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation: A listing of Woodrow Wilson National Fellowships that support the development of future leaders in teaching, foreign affairs, conservation, women & gender, religion & ethics, and access & opportunity
  • The John Lewis Fellowship: A summer program for sophomores, juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who are passionate about active and responsible citizenship, diversity, and human rights. The program takes place in Atlanta, Georgia and encourages the exploration of race and civil rights, immigration, and Native American issues. A stipend is included
  • FirstGEN Fellows: A fellowship for first-generation undergraduate students who are dedicated to pursuing careers in the social justice field. Applicants should posses a track record of public service through volunteer work/community service
  • Rainier Valley Corps Fellowship Program: A local fellowship that works to develop, support, and activate emerging leaders of color by placing them in community organizations. Benefits include full-time pay, an educational award, and health benefits

  • Elie Wiesel Prize: Gives $5,000, $2,500 & $1,500 for winners of the Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest
  • Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation:  Research grants and dissertation fellowships on the problems of aggression, violence, and dominance
  • Social Science Research Council (SSRC) Fellowships: Information on many SSRC fellowships and grants offering predissertation, dissertation, and postdoctoral support in the social sciences and other disciplines 
  • International Dissertation Research Fellowships:  Gives $20,000 for doctoral research in the humanities and social sciences conducted outside of the United States
