Facilities Services has multiple projects of all shapes and sizes, ranging from Design and Constructions's major capital projects to Facilities Operations planned maintenance to Support Service's furniture installations. All projects aim to implement as many sustainable practices as possible and to improve the quality of the campus.
Current projects are featured below. Construction bulletins are posted weekly for large projects, more often during the summer. You can also look at our past projects.
The Connolly Complex has been
the main campus athletics and recreational complex since 1969. The Commitment
to Equity renovation is the final component of the University’s five-year
gender equity plan for Athletics approved in 2011, which also included the
redevelopment of Logan Field at SU Park. The Connolly Complex renovation
specifically addresses Title IX requirements for intercollegiate athletics by
enhancing the student-athlete and spectator experience. The
project includes seating and visual enhancements to North Court, as well as
newly configured locker rooms and spectator amenities. The new Connolly Complex
will continue to serve not only Athletics, but all student users and an array
of university events. A project bulletin will be provided once
a month to keep the campus community informed of our progress and notification
of any construction impacts.
