Here are some tips if you are applying during COVID-19.
- If you are unable to order an official transcript, you may upload an unofficial copy. (Self-declared scores are also acceptable.) If admitted, an official transcript must be submitted within the first quarter of enrollment.
- If you were unable to take the WEST-B exam before testing centers closed, you may apply without these test scores. We require that you take both the WEST-B and WEST-E/NES by August 2021.
- The MIT program requires applicants to have recently spent time in schools with youth. We recognize this may not be possible given the COVID-19 school closures. If you have had experience working with youth in a school or school-like setting, please write about that in your Letter of Intent. You may be asked to procure a letter of recommendation from these experiences should our Faculty reviewers find it necessary.
