From the desk of Natasha Martin, VP for Diversity and Inclusion:
Dear Campus Community,
As we mark the beginning of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, designated in this year’s White House proclamation as Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Seattle University affirms the rich tapestry of cultures, ethnicities, and experiences of this diverse and vibrant community – representing a broad diaspora of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi Americans.

This year’s theme centers around the importance of unity as a family in Vietnamese culture and traditions. With this, we want to showcase the unconditional love, strength, and courage of everyone and their families through these troubling times. This show will remind everyone that even through the changing pandemic, we are still one family. This event will showcase Vietnamese culture through amazing performances, a beautiful fashion show, and a homemade cookbook. There will also be an auction.
