Safe Start Health Check

August 4, 2020

Dear Faculty and Staff,

On July 15, the President’s Reopening Taskforce published the Guide for Returning to the Campus Workplace. One of the requirements described in the guide is for faculty, staff and student workers to use the Safe Start Health Check each day prior to arriving on campus. We want to emphasize that this is a current requirement for all employees working on campus.

The Safe Start Health Check is an automated screening tool intended to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 in our community. After answering a short series of questions, you will receive an automated email with your screening results. Please only come to work on campus if you receive approval to do so. If you do not receive approval to be on campus, guidance and resources will be provided to you automatically.

Sincerely,

Shane P. Martin
