Ruth White to do poetry reading on March 14

Social Work Associate Professor Ruth White leads off an open forum of poetry readings at 7 p.m. on March 14 at Barnes and Noble (600 Pine St.). The event is a celebration of Women's History Month. White will be reading "The Nine," a poem about her grandmother and her eight daughters who informed White's womanhood by being feminists "who were just doing woman the only way they were taught how," White says.
