In June, about three months before the opening of the renovated Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons, Project Manager Steve De Bruhl took Annie Beckmann on a tour through both buildings. Beckmann, senior writer in Marketing Communications, was writing an article on the library and learning commons for the fall issue of Seattle University Magazine. She invited her colleague (this writer) to tag along, which he did.
For the better part of two hours, De Bruhl guided the visitors through every floor, and nearly every nook and cranny, of the buildings.
